PL/SQL Developer工具优化一例


PL/SQL Developer ： Version 8.0.3.1510
Oracle :   Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0
用PL/SQL Developer 连11g 的时候发现PL/SQL Developer 反应很慢。
有以下现象：

1.用PL/SQL Developer连数据库的时候，数据库主机cpu突然冲高,退出PL/SQL Developer后cpu恢复正常。

2.数据库有等待事件asynch descriptor resize .

3.等待事件对应的SQL

  1. select s.synonym_name object_name, o.object_type  
  2. from all_synonyms s,  
  3.      sys.all_objects o  
  4. where s.owner in ('PUBLIC', :schema)  
  5. and o.owner = s.table_owner  
  6. and o.object_name = s.table_name  
  7. and o.object_type in ('TABLE', 'VIEW', 'PACKAGE','TYPE', 'PROCEDURE', 'FUNCTION',   
  8. 'SEQUENCE')  

为了避免这个问题可以禁用掉“Describe context”功能

Tools > Preferences >User Interface> Code Assistant>Describe context
工具 > 首选项 > 用户界面 > 代码助手  >描述符前后关系

描述前后关系
确定了代码助手是否应该描述当前用户、编辑器和程序单元的前后关系。
最少字符数
确定了在前后关系描述能自动地被调用之前有多少个字符的词需要被键入。注意，你始终可以手工调用代码助手，即使字符数没有被键入也是这样。
描述标准函数
在默认的情况下，代码助手将描述标准的函数诸如 to_char 、add_months 等等。如果你很熟悉这些函数，你可以禁止这个选项。
