一次在安装完VMware tools后，系统无法进入图形用户界面的问题

 

一次在安装完VMware tools后，系统无法进入图形用户界面，错误提示如下：

X-Window启动不了，查看/var/log/XFree86.0.log中有如下错误信息：“Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed'”，如何解决？

解决方法如下：编辑 /etc/X11/XF86Config，在“Section ‘Files’”里的“FontPath”段加入以下字体路径定义：

最后  需要修改分辨率： 颜色深度应该是 Millions of colors
