Ubuntu 10.04 上安装 GNOME Activity Journal


在 Gnome 3.0 开发计划中最主要的两大核心组件就是 Gnome Shell 和 GNOME Activity Journal ( 之前叫 Gnome Zeitgeist ) ，Gnome Shell 也许你已经见识过，可以在 Ubuntu 上安装并体验了，它提供了一个崭新的用户界面。而相对来说，对于 GNOME Activity Journal 你也许会比较陌生。

GNOME Activity Journal 是 Gnome 3.0 开发计划中最主要的两大核心组件之一，是一个方便用户浏览和查找文件的工具。它保存了所有文件的活动日志，并支持按时间顺序标记和建立文件之间的连接关系。

如果对此有兴趣的话，可以通过以下方式来安装最新的 0.5 版 GNOME Activity Journal 来进行体验。

# 安装：

1、先通过 PPA 来安装 Zeitgeist

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:zeitgeist/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install zeitgeist zeitgeist-core

2、下载 GNOME Activity Journal 0.5 deb 包并安装 ( 支持 32 位和 64 位 )

如果没法启动的话，请尝试用以下命令

zeitgeist-daemon –quit
zeitgeist-daemon &
