Firefox在Wine中的运行速度快过原生

Tuxradar比较了Firefox在Windows和Linux平台的JavaScript性能。系统分别是Windows XP SP3和Fedora 10，使用了三组测试工具SunSpider、V8 Benchmark 3和Dromaeo，结果显示Firefox在Linux上的表现落后于Windows，三组测试Linux都略为逊色。

随后，Tuxradar又测试了Wine，结果却让他们惊讶。他们分别对比了Firefox Windows（Win平台原生），Firefox Fedora（Linux原生），Firefox Mozilla（Fedora平台上的Mozilla版），Firefox Wine（Win原生版，在Fedora上运行Wine 1.1.12），结果Firefox Windows表现最优异，其次是Firefox Wine。有人指出原因是Windows版FF有PGO（Profile Guided Optimisation）优化，而linux版没有。
