AIX 5L上安装Oracle 10G


在AIX 5L上安装Oracle 10G,需要先划空间,下文将讲述使用smit创建vg的过程
shell>smitty mkvg:
Move cursor to desired item and press Enter.


  Add an Original Volume Group
  Add a Big Volume Group
  Add a Scalable Volume Group


选择第一项即可,第2和第3项都是在增加了vg容量作出了调整,但是本文是测试,不需要多大的空间,也没有那么多的pv供选择。
默认情况下是第一项,加车即可
回车后

晕,提示要加大pp的大小,用F3退回
因为普通vg要求 多只能含有16256个pp,因为目前的磁盘空间是35762*8/1024约为280G
从pv上看大小,大致也可以验证这一点:

因此,其最小大小应该为32M
